Program Terms, Assumption of Risk, and Release of Liability
Last updated October 19, 2026
These terms apply to every program, plan, kit, and service sold on lylesperformance.com, including the 6-week sport blocks, the Full Year plans, the Know Your Noise Floor kit, the Personalized 8-Week Start, and Ongoing Coaching (together, the “Programs”). In these terms, “Keke Lyles” and “Lyles Performance” include Keke Lyles, Lyles Performance, and their contractors and agents.
By completing your purchase you confirm you have read and agree to these terms.
1. Training and education, not medical care
The Programs are general fitness training and education. They are not medical advice, and they do not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. They are not physical therapy or medical care, and Keke Lyles is not acting as your doctor or physical therapist. If you have a medical condition or an injury, your own doctor or physical therapist stays in charge of it.
2. Check with your physician first
Consult a physician before you start any Program. Athletes should have a current sports physical or a doctor’s clearance for sport and strength training. If you have a current injury, pain that is getting worse, a heart condition, or any other health concern, see your doctor before you begin. Stop right away and get medical help if you feel chest pain, dizziness, faintness, unusual shortness of breath, or sharp or worsening pain, and follow the When To Stop page in your program. If a symptom is severe or sudden, call emergency services.
3. Voluntary participation and assumption of risk
Strength training, jumping, sprinting, throwing, conditioning, and sport training carry inherent risks. These include muscle strains, sprains, joint and bone injuries, overuse injuries, heart problems, and, in rare cases, serious injury or death. Your participation is voluntary. You understand these risks, you choose to take part, and you knowingly and freely assume all of them, known and unknown, including risks that come from your equipment, your training space, and your own choices about load, effort, and recovery. You are responsible for training within your abilities, using safe equipment and space, and having appropriate supervision.
4. Release, waiver, and indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and forever discharge Keke Lyles and Lyles Performance from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, and liability for injury, illness, death, or property damage arising from or related to the Programs or your use of them, including claims based on ordinary negligence. You also agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Keke Lyles and Lyles Performance from any claims, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, that arise from your use of the Programs or your breach of these terms. This release does not cover gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be released under applicable law.
5. No guarantee of results
Results depend on many things outside anyone’s control, including your health, history, effort, sleep, nutrition, and consistency. No specific result, performance gain, or outcome is promised or guaranteed. Tests, scores, and baselines in the Programs are training tools and estimates, not medical measurements.
6. Athletes under 18
If the athlete is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must make the purchase and must read and agree to these terms, including the assumption of risk and release, on the athlete’s behalf and on their own behalf. The parent or guardian also needs to complete the parent or guardian consent on the Start Here page of each program, or in the intake form for the Personalized 8-Week Start, make sure the athlete has been cleared for sports participation by a physician, and make sure an adult supervises lifting sessions.
7. Personalized 8-Week Start and Ongoing Coaching
The Personalized 8-Week Start includes an intake form with a health screen. If your answers raise a health concern, your plan may be put on hold until a doctor or physical therapist has cleared you. Ongoing Coaching bills monthly, and you can cancel anytime; cancelling stops future charges. These services are training and education, as described in section 1.
8. Refunds
Digital downloads, including the sport blocks, the Full Year plans, and the Know Your Noise Floor kit, are delivered right away, so all sales of digital products are final. If you have a problem with a download or a question about a charge, email lylesperformance@gmail.com and we will help.
9. Personal use
Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Program for yourself, or for the athlete you bought it for. Please do not share, resell, post, or distribute the files or your download link.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, that part will be enforced to the fullest extent allowed, and the rest of the terms stay in effect.
11. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version posted when you buy applies to that purchase. Questions? Email lylesperformance@gmail.com.
